DNA Editing of Human Embryos Alarms Scientists
A call by scientists to halt precision gene editing of DNA in human embryos would allow time to work out safety and ethical issues
I got this article from the science magazine Scientific American and I would classify it into the “Genetics and Mecidine” section. Here it is the link:

Critical review
Science is developing every second and we are not even conscious that this is actually happening. But science mustn’t bring humanity to the point that we start “designing humans”. As Fyodor Urnov says, In my view society would be making a mistake and we would regret it in the future.
Research will always be something positive, because as the word says, it is just looking for some solutions for diseases or real problems we have to daily face. But we do not have to enter the world of creating embryos, as it would have a consequence in coming generations. There is also the thing about ethic, perhaps more than half of the entire population might find it a totally crime against humanity, due to the fact that people would not be themselves and their genes would have been selected as we select the clothes we want to wear. Is there any way that this people could protest or be against this? Actually not, because they would have already been born. Perfect bodies and minds, but as artificial as robots. Is it fair?
